Golf TeeMates is a mobile app for organizing and playing golf: leagues, tournaments, events, RSVPs, groupings, live scoring, game formats, handicaps, and course GPS. By creating an account or using the app or golfteemates.com, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Golf TeeMates sends SMS messages only to users who opt in. You consent to receive texts when you (a) enter your phone number to sign in — we text you a one-time passcode — or (b) join a league, tournament, or event and choose to receive its notices (round invitations, RSVP reminders, group pairings, results). If someone invites you to a league by phone number, you may receive that single invitation text with a link; ignoring it means you will not be texted about it again.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

Scores may be entered by you or by members of your playing group; corrections are visible to the group. Handicaps computed in the app are for recreational league play and are not an official USGA® Handicap Index. League managers control their league's settings, rosters, and results.
Golf TeeMates calculates results for common golf games (skins, Nassau, and similar) as a scorekeeping convenience. The app does not hold, transfer, or process money, and any settling-up between players happens entirely outside the service and is the players' own responsibility, including compliance with local law.
Some features (for example, running leagues or always-on GPS) may require a paid subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by those stores under their terms. During beta periods, features may be free and may change.
You keep ownership of content you post (chat messages, photos). You grant Sentinel Media Inc. a limited license to host and display that content to the leagues you share it with, solely to operate the service. Course maps, yardages, renders, and app content are the property of Sentinel Media Inc. or its licensors.
The service is provided "as is." Yardages, GPS data, and computed results are provided for convenience and may contain errors — verify anything that matters. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sentinel Media Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings or by emailing privacy@golfteemates.com. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
